How do I apply for a home with North Star?
You must apply for a home via the Choice Based Lettings (CBL) scheme or the council for the area you'd like to live in.

All housing associations must allocate and let their homes in a fair and transparent way that takes the needs of tenants and prospective tenants into account. We assist local councils to meet housing need, reduce homelessness and through meeting obligations in nominations agreements.
North Star is a partner organisation in the choice-based lettings (CBL) schemes, or has adopted the council's allocations policy for each Council area where we have properties. These are shown below.
All our properties are allocated in accordance with the relevant Allocations Policy.
On occasion, and with the agreement of the council, we operate outside of these schemes. Our Access to Housing Policy outlines our approach to operating outside of the CBL schemes.
